My mother divorced my dad before I was born and instantly remarried to an abusive man. I was raised in an abusive household for most of my teenage life till my real dad found me and got me out of it. I lost my best friend a while before my dad took custody of me and things were looking bad. I tried committing suicide a few times but when things got better I realised there was a whole bigger world out there and a family who loves me despite everything. I hope things work out for you. I have to say that it was because of your book I had some hope during the time we were fighting in court.. I hope my words can give you someone to fight with.
Things get better, you fighting something like this makes you stronger than most out there who consider themselves strong but can’t go through shit!
I hope you realise that we even though anonymous fans of yours really like you and you are not alone

Hey, I just kinda came across your stories and saw all your dealing and your mother having cancer...
Take it from a guy who was a stupid kid that couldn't stay out of jail and learned of his mother's breast cancer while doing a 2yr stint 20yrs ago... Even the darkest night has to succumb to the dawn. Don't give up on your dreams and passions and pray often. Wishing you and your mother the best.
