Ken Wallin is an author and avid reader who appreciates stories with unlikely or imperfect heroes and that leave the reader with something of value. His fiction has appeared in Writer's Journal and the short story Summerlake was a Fiction Winner. His novels, Mountains of the Macaw and Falling to Eden, are now available on Amazon. The current WIP is The Goddess of Kunlun, book one in the Light of Shambhala duology.

Residing in Southern California, his stories often reflect his love of nature and the outdoors. When not writing or working outdoors, he can be found hiking the hills or walking the beaches from San Diego to Santa Cruz with his wife of over thirty happy years or playing with his grandkids.

"Adventure is whatever you make of it, wherever you find it, from the ends of the earth to your own backyard."
