For anyone who has read the Wakeful Wanderer's Guide Book 1, I have gone back to rework the beginning. I moved the prologue to after Reverside and rewrote the start of Reverside. I think it's much better, but would love to get your comments on it.

At the risk of being obnoxious, I have also written a book called "How I Write" - a short set of notes to document my process. As time goes by, I think I need to remind myself how and why I do what I do. Feel free to review and comment.

          	Thanks,

Thank you for your wonderful feedback on “Lost”! ❤️

Thank you especially for focusing on the male perspective of things. I’m female myself, and up until this point 100% of my commenters have been female, so it’s nice to hear that I didn’t mess things up too badly. =)

Thank you also for pointing out the liquor problem! My inexperience there comes from never having been a drinker myself — but I’ve been given a brief lesson, and will definitely be changing some things there when I rewrite. =)

Thank you again! Your comments have truly been helpful.

I really dig the thing you mention in your bio about having "that moment" when you finally make the decision to go through with the wild idea of actually sitting down to write the damn thing that's been going through your thoughts for so long. I think it's something everyone on this platform can relate to =)

@TigerBlam Thanks! I was hoping that would be helpful. Sometimes you have to give yourself permission. I know I had to.

I took the liberty to write an article about my writing process. Over the weekend I had a couple of people say I should write a book about it. I don't think it's worth a book, but maybe it's worth a blog post. I hope it's more helpful than narcissistic. Here it is: http://jiminfantino.com/blog/news/c/258

Awesome! It felt REALLY egotistical writing it out, but all's well if it's helpful.

@JimInfantino very interesting insight into your writing process (and not at all narcissistic). I'm with you on the daydreaming part. Most of my stories take shape while I'm doing something else, usually work because it's easy to get bored. Also, I just have to say that the way you write is very palatable to the reading mind. Even your blog post had a beautiful and easy flow to it. Keep writing. You're doing it incredibly well. And thanks for sharing!

Well, I'm beyond beyond that The Wakeful Wanderer's Guide to New New England & Beyond, even with a seriously long title, has won a Watty. This is my very first foray into writing novels, and I'm hooked. So hooked, in fact, that I've started the next one. It is book 2 in the series, called The Wakeful Wanderer's Guide to Isolation & Redemption. There is 1 chapter up, for those of you who have finished book 1. I will post all future chapters here on Wattpad. It's all pretty rough so far, and I may change the title, the cover, and the chapters a whole lot before it's done, but this is Wattpad, and you get to follow along with the process, however flawed. Thanks again for following!
