Jenster

My name is Jeniel and I am 22 years old. I have been writing since I was in elementary school, but never started taking it seriously (lol) until I entered college. I am one of those people who live inside my own head, and often daydream. For a short while, I dabbled in fanfic writing (which I plan to upload eventually) until I realized, I enjoy being able to write my own characters and stories more than I do altering someone else's.  I love reading. I spend roughly 3-6 hours a day reading, and I am working on being able to write for longer periods of time as well. I am a Gemini, so a lot of my works are unfinished haha and I am editing as I go as well. I want to use this platform as a portfolio of sorts. A lot of the stuff I write, hides in my computer and my notebooks, and finally, I'm ready to try and share it. I'm really into anime and manga and when I'm not reading or writing I'm probably watching anime or listening to music, or working. I secretly wish I was an Earthbender.  My favorite genres to read are fantasy and paranormal romance, science fiction and some urban fiction/urban fantasy. I like to write paranormal fantasy mostly because it allows me to write about worlds in which I wish I lived in, or secret supernatural powers I wish I had. I notice a lot of authors who look like me don't typically write these genre's and I wish to change that. I look forward to others reading my works as well as reading cool stories on here too.
