I'm an indie author of the Josie Jameson mystery series. Because I write YA, I check into Urban Dictionary on occasion to know what GOATs are and what constitutes a 'snack.' One time some guy called me a smoke screen, but I think he needs a new eyeglasses prescription.

Raised across the river from a nuclear reactor, I grew up thinking two-headed animals were normal until I moved west to Seattle. As a mother of two daughters, I raised them to be loving, accepting, kind human beings. I myself, though, am an ogre.

I love to hear from my readers, so speak up! Thanks for reading. And if you are an aspiring writer, you've got this! Carry a notebook. Call yourself an author. Drink coffee in a busy coffee shop and observe everything. Dig deep and share the stuff that hurts.
