About

I'm Jelsa. Yes, that was my name before Frozen came out.
I'm the author of Picture Imperfect (coming September 22, 2015) and an editorial intern at REUTS Publications.

I have writing calluses on my right hand: middle finger from holding pens and pinky from brushing paper.
My left hand finger pads are all callused from playing the guitar, violin, and bass guitar.
My finger joints are very bony due to my constant need to climb rocks.
My hands tell a story, as do the words I put on paper.

@submerged-- one of the classes I took talked about pencil grip and such and apparently our way isn't the 'best' way but it's worked for me so far. I've written nearly two million words of just fiction that way, something must be going right. :P
Oh my god. I think we hold a pencil the same way. I've never met anyone who holds a pencil the way I do - I was so nervous in kindergarten that I wouldn't be able to make it into first grade because I didn't hold a pencil the way they taught me.

The sequel still needs a lot of work, and I don't feel comfortable putting it up on the Internet. Facades is getting published under a new title, Picture Imperfect, in two months. :)
