I'm a freelance writer with over three hundred publication credits; of fiction and non-fiction; short stories and articles, a University Lecturer with Doctorates in English literature, Mass Communications and Law, and most recently, a novelist. I have written for many publications, as well as regularly contributing to local newspapers. My background encompasses working as a television producer, director, and writer for network, PBS, and community television. A frequent traveler, I've resided in thirteen states and three countries. A confirmed bibliophile, when I'm not writing I can be found reading a good book, or spending time in the outdoors. My new home of Mississippi plays a major part in my novel, Shattered Lies. My hometown of New York City is where the latter portion of the novel occurs. I have a great respect and fondness for both places, and consider the world around me to be a notebook full of endless ideas.
My first novel, Shattered Lies is a stand-alone mainstream/family saga novel, set to be released in 2015 by Black Opal Books. The family dynamic is a never ending source of ideas for me and Shattered Lies is no exception. As in all the stories I write, in the end, it’s all about family. Future projects include a stand-alone sequel to Shattered Lies and a novel about the dynamic family relationships and and friendships in Hollywood.
