I grew up in Maine and put the long, harsh winters to good use by reading everything I could get my hands on. I've always loved great stories, from novels to movies to campfire tales. So it was only natural to start creating my own.
I started writing as a teen-ager, but got distracted by a career and family and bills and everything else in life that's not writing. A few years ago, I caught the bug again and started writing with renewed passion.
I write all types of fantasy, with seven novels completed to-date. My first indie published novella, Saving Face, is an urban fantasy thriller.
I am preparing for a concentrated publishing blitz in 2015, with novels from three separate series. The first two novels of my epic fantasy series, starting with The Sentinel’s Call; My alternate history fantasy trilogy – the Facetakers – that pick up where Saving Face left off; and the first three novels of my exciting YA fantasy series, starting with Set In Stone. More details on my website. (www.frankmorin.org)
I'm also part of the Fictorians, a group blog by writers about writing. Check it out at www.fictorians.com
I live in Oregon with my wife Jenny and our four children. In our home, storytelling is a cherished family tradition that keeps magic alive.
