Bullying is repeated verbal, physical, social or psychological aggressive behaviour by a person or group directed towards a less powerful person or group that is intended to cause harm, distress or fear.

That is the definition of bullying.

Next time you want to say something to someone think to yourself, "Is this going to do any good to anyone around you? Is it going to bring any joy into the world?" If the answer is no, then don't say anything. There is enough misery in the world without you adding to it.

People pick on people so they can feel powerful, so that they can feel in control.

News flash, it makes you worthless. It makes you look like you enjoy seeing people hurt and in pain.

You want to call someone a bitch? Why? What have they ever did to you to make you want to emotionally hurt someone like that?

You want to hit someone so they feel pain? Why? What have they ever done to you to want to physically hurt someone?

In my books, physical and emotional bullying are just as bad as each other whether it's painful words or painful actions, it's still pain. It's still there.

Even if they smile through the pain, it's still there. These, strong, strong people wear masks to hide all the pain that you put there. So that you can't see it. And then as soon as you are gone, they take off their suffocating masks and let the pain sink deep into their skins so it leaves scars. Emotional scars or physical scars.

It's all the same.

So next time, you want to hurt someone, imagine yourself in their shoes and you might stop yourself.

No one likes bullies anyway.
