Hola chicas!
I'm Amy! I love everything to do with horses, as well as I adore writing and reading alike. I'd love to be an author someday, and own a farm with my best friend @ReadingHorses that offers lessons, boarding, and therapeutic riding! You gotta dream big, right?

I'm an equine lover! Horses are a passion of mine, and someday I WILL own at least one horse. Maybe it'll be my dream horse (16 hands bay gelding/mare), or maybe not. There's no such thing as a bad horse, only cruel trainers and people who neglect the beautiful animals. 

 I used to lease a 12 year old 15.2 hand Quarter Horse mare named Velvet, but her legs have begun to fail her with the riding I wanted to do. She now works as a therapy horse at a wonderful barn where my friend volunteers, so she won't have to work too hard and she can still offer joy to everyone around her

I don't ride horses currently, although I love working with horses as well. I volunteer at a barn near me where I get to groom the horses, feed them, and basically do all of the hard jobs that barns need done. I'm learning a lot every day from the awesome people there, and maybe I'll even get to ride there someday. Who knows? :)
