Cherine Olivier

I am a twenty-four year old South African woman. I was born in Pretoria in 1995 just after the end of apartheid. I wouldn't say that I'm worldly but I have travelled a bit of my own country. I live and breathe fantasy, it's in my blood and bones just as much as the air I breathe.

Writing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Hours spent with a pencil and paper in my hands, later becoming an old desktop that could barely handle word and finally my laptop. Words have always resonated with me in a way that I can only begin to explain with my novels. I fell in love with words and the way they can make or break people, the way one story can touch a soul and breathe life back.

Fantasy has been my escape from the real world for as long as I can remember and I'd love to share my own stories with the world. I love watching the smile people get on their faces when they're reading along and something amusing happens. I love the way books connect us in a way people seem to have forgotten. In the era of smartphones and internet I'd love to be able to connect passed that to the soul of another human, something only books can do.
