Reading a story is intimate for me. It’s immersive. If the story has captivated me literarily, then it becomes as emotional as living with another being. I experience the sadness, the anger, the joy, the sensuality, the very life of the story in its form. When I love a story, I will reread it and never tire, because I have become so enraptured that the story is part of me. It fuels my imagination which integrates with me personally. I would love for any person who loves stories to be able to experience the wonderment of any and all emotions when reading. It saddens me that on this app I see people ruining that wonder for others by explaining plot lines because they’ve already read the story.

Predictive guessing is one thing but to blatantly give up a future plot point does the creative writer a disservice as well as the readers. Y’all really should do better and stop being so quick to say, “ oooh, ooh, look at me this is what happens,” and be more empathetic to others who want the same emotional pleasures that reading the story will give them as you enjoyed. I’m not sorry that this is long or preachy. Some of y’all are rotten little cretins who’s self-esteem is too centered on how many people see you instead of who you actually should become. Do better.

I was in my feelings. Nothing hurts worse than ruining wonder. There is an innocence in that expectation that everyone should experience

I love to read and I love to write. To everyone that I follow you are truly inspiring. Your amazing works and nuances and vulnerabilities shown in your stories are like food for me. Believe me , I take time to eat and sleep and other human needs, but y’all are truly my happy place here in Watty land. Boy love drama led me here and my giddy self is happy happy joy joy excited to stay, right mothafudging heah!
