Hi! I'm Clare, and I'm new here. 

I'm a half Aussie half Irish writer, cosplayer, and former video games journalist and TV presenter. Queer (and so are many of my characters). 🏳️‍🌈💗💜💙 

I started down the writer path at age ten; I was kicked off the netball team because I wanted to play water witches in the adjoining creek instead. It's been all uphill since then. 

I'm a rabid reader of sci-fi, fantasy, LGBTQ+, and romance. I love stories with well-rounded kick-ass heroines, and I tend to DNF books glorifying abusive relationships (I've been in a couple and, my fellow humans, they're not sexy at all. They're down right torture). 

Major fictional crushes include: Scully, Xena, Lexa, Chrisjen Avasarala, the Grand High Witch, Morticia, Mumby, Ripley, the elven king Thranduil (that hair, c'mon), and Lucius Malfoy (just go with it). 

I absolutely love the stories I'm reading on Wattpad. They're provocative, risky, dynamic, and engaging.
