Alright guys, the original draft of The Mob Boss' Girl is officially GONE. I will return to the rewrite as soon as I finish working on Immortal Rose.
I've been really depressed since all of this happened, and it's taken a toll not only on my mental health, but my grades, my energy, my writing, my everything. I'm not done writing, not yet at least.

I WILL BE DELETING THE ORIGINAL DRAFT OF THE MOB BOSS’ GIRL AT THE END OF THIS YEAR.
When TMBG got popular, I got this huge surge of energy to write. I wanted to give you guys more content, to broaden my horizons, so for the past year I’ve been working on stuff for you.
THAT HAS CLEARLY FAILED MISERABLY.
The only reason I kept the original draft was because someone asked me to. I haven’t had any other reason to keep it around.
No one has been reading the rewrite (which will
eventually have a new title) and no one has been checking out my other stuff. I don’t want to be a one hit wonder, you guys.
It took a lot of thinking on my part, and with a ton of stuff happening right now with me working 3 jobs, being a part of a podcast, and going to school to top it all off, I decided to delete the OG TMBG.
With things being so quiet, it’s hard for me to write when I don’t have anyone asking to see more.
It’s kind of like performing a routine, be it singing, comedy, or theatre and the audience is silent. All you can hear is the mental chirping of crickets.
As an amateur performer, I can guarantee that the sound of a silent audience is even worse than hearing a chorus of booing. It means that the performance wasn’t good, nor was it bad. It means the performance was unremarkable, not worthy of anyone’s time.
And yes, this is partially a rant. I love writing, and it breaks my heart that I’ve fallen back into obscurity.

Immortal Rose is only five chapters away from the big 2-0!
At first, I kind of had a writing plan, but then life happened. Now I'm kind of writing whenever inspiration strikes. I love this story more than anything I've written in my whole life, and honestly, I've never been more proud of my writing. Compared to the original draft of TMBG, Immortal Rose is a real testament to how much we can improve ourselves if we step out of our comfort zones.
HOWEVER!
Despite how much I am in love with Immortal Rose, I am not getting any reads. The question I now pose is:
Did I really reach the peak of Wattpad popularity when I was a dumb 18 year old? I'm not even seeing reads on the rewrite. :(
I intend to stay hard at work balancing uni with writing, my job, and my other hobbies, so I'll try to update as often as I can. As of right now, I am hoping to have Immortal Rose finished by late winter/early spring.

Well guys, after rereading TMBG, I've decided that it is a complete and total garbage fire. So, I will be rewriting the whole story from scratch, keeping a lot of key elements and characters, but adding a lot more. It's my goal to at least hit 60 or so chapters, so this is going to be huge.
I'm going to be republishing the whole book, so I want each and every single one of you to check it out as soon as I get things started.

Are you going to delete the whole book or just keep it that way and make a new book but as the revised one? I like to have the TMBG the same and just make a new entirely book as the revised version

So TMBG is going to have a huge makeover! After re reading my work, I've decided certain aspects aren't up to par. I will definitely be doing more research and focusing on the mob aspect a bit more. TMBG will be UNPUBLISHED for the time being, so hold on tight until I re-release everything!
