Hey guys B.C.Boulter here. I am atempting to write a novel. 'What is it about?' I hear you ask.
Well I am writing about the unification of Japan during Sengoku Jidai, more precisely the three great unifiers, Oda Nobunaga, Tyotomi Hideyoshi and Ieyasu.
'Why don't I just get a history book about them'. Well if your intereseted, the best ones I have found are 'shogun the life of Ieyasu' by A L Sadler. 'Japonius Tyrannus' by Jeroen Lamers. Currently I am waiting on Mary Elizabeth Berry's 'Hideyoshi'. But back to the point. while you could read a history book, I am aiming to create a more entertaining read and while I am changing certain events, though use of poetic liscence the heart of the story is true.
With the above in mind I am creating a book that is fast paced, but has depth, that has sweeping and beatiful landscapes, like those out of films such as 'The Last Samurai', brutality of war and combat and hopefully a sprinkling of Bushido (The way of the Warrior).
