My name is Shayla, I am 22 years old. I'm married (Quite happily, I might add. So please no weird messages!) with a three year old daughter. I've always loved reading and writing, ever since I was ten or eleven years old. My love for writing really took off after I started reading an author named Greg Iles. His work inspired me to be creative. Sometimes, I can write for hours and hours, spewing out anywhere from ten to twenty thousand words. 

I'm extremely friendly to talk to, albeit shy at first! But, once you get to know me, I'm very open and honest. I hate lies. If someone had a problem with me, I would rather they said it to my face, than lie to me. 

I can generally make friends easily, but I keep only a select few close to me. Most people view me as the advice giver, so I do apologize in advance if I start going off on some weird wisdom rant -- its partly due to the fact that I helped raise my two younger siblings and the fact that I have a toddler of my own.

I'm pretty open-minded, I enjoy a large range of book genres. From Romance, to Crime, to Mystery, to Supernatural, etc.
