Welcome to my profile! My name is April, author of the featured and 2015 Watty award winning high fantasy novel "OathBlade"! Thanks for checking in, I hope you find something you can enjoy!

I started out writing fanfiction, got bitten by the writing bug, and now here I am building worlds and torturing innocent (and not so innocent) characters. 

I'm a big advocate for people writing whatever makes them happy (so long as it doesn't harm anyone, of course). No matter what anyone says just write what you want, and for whatever reason you want to. For fame, for money, or just for yourself, who cares? Life's too short to take away other people's simple pleasures!

My work, my profile, and my community in general is a safe space for all people. My work is LGBT inclusive and will stay that way. So to put things simply, my work isn't a platform to debate religion or politics. If you attack my community you'll only be asked ONCE to stop. Refusal = Mute.
