U.S. Army Veteran. Paratrooper. Runner.

I fell in love with writing in my freshman year of college. Our English 101 teacher had us read Raymond Carver books. His brilliant yet straightforward short stories helped shape my views on writing short stories. I took more English courses than I can count, including women's literature, literary theory, linguistics, creative writing, grant writing proposals, etc.

The point is: classes can't teach you how to write. Only writing, reading, and accepting constructive criticism can. I, for one, appreciate constructive criticism.
