Hello folks, Aditya here. Twenty-one. Indian. I've always considered myself as a storyteller than a writer. I wrote my first story around the age of seven which was about an orphan girl going on a journey around the world on a star with a smiley face. Yes, that's right. A smiley face. My another major story came when I was fifteen. It was about the aline-dinosaurs invading earth. My English teacher loved it, which propelled me to write more stories like that. Still, I didn't consider myself as a writer. That change in my perspective happened when I discovered wattpad four years ago.
The website was a treasure trove of stories. Some great. Some bad. But each full of passion of a writer that resides in everyone. I posted some short stories on it; most of them received good reviews, which boosted my confidence, forcing me to take on a bigger project. Then I wrote my first novel under one month. It has a good story. But my writing was not doing justice to it. So, I decided to put it aside and return to it after becoming a competent writer. The process is still going on. I continued writing short stories. Some were good. Some were terrible. But each helped me hone my skills as a writer. I won few writing competitions. One of which gave me an opportunity to spend an evening with published writers. It ended up being a valuable evening. By that time I had finished writing another novel, titled: Border of the sun, which had a good story and was also well written. So, I decided to self-publish it. It received a good response from the audience, and it was also featured on wattpad. It took me one whole year to complete my third novel. It's a big book and is the best that I have written till now, hands down, and hopefully will be soon published.
I love talking!
