"I was born too late into a world that doesn't care, oh how I wish I was a punk-rocker with flowers in my hair. When music really mattered and when radio was king. When popstars still remained a myth, and ignorance could still be bliss."
When I was six, my mother told me that the World was a cruel place, and that there were just two things you could become, two ways to deal with it.
Option one is to grow up and accept it, to become one with the ordinary and to cast aside your dreams, to become, for the lack of a better definition, grey.
Option two is to live beyond our World, in a place of your own imagination and creation. A place where magic exists, and where you get to live a thousand lives, instead of just one. To become one with your dreams, and to cast aside reality in favour of becoming the brightest shades of colour your imagination can conjure. To live in the World of words and books.
And even then, I knew that I could never survive in the monochrome reality that most were forced to endure--so I flourished beneath the rays of creativity, and became one with the realm of endless tales.
