Hey there! I am currently 21, working, and in college. I write under the names Serayna and Ashley Taylor. I also have a fan-fiction account on here: @CloudedSkies
Thank you for all of the support I have been given here! I try my hardest to respond to every single message/vote/comment/follow, but I am only an awkward potato, and tend to miss people. I really do appreciate everything you guys do for me. ❤
Please do not ask for read requests or follow backs!

Newst Projects to come
If you're reading this, know that you are awesome and you deserve a wonderful day.
I'm just a girl that happens to love reading and writing in her spare time. I signed up a long time ago and never really got the guts to post a story of mine on here. I love writing for the love of it and it's my favourite pastime. All of my stories are just thoughts that come to my head when I daydream (which happens a lot).
I'm the type of person that's shy when you first meet me and then really weird when you get to know me. So if you want to talk to someone about some random thing or just talk, feel free to hit me up.
It's awkward ending things like these on profiles.
No longer taking cover requests - sorry.

I was born and raised in a small town in Northern BC, but now live in Vancouver. Writing isn't my day job; I work full-time as a web designer, but I like to draw comics and write novels in my spare time. I also like tea, prairie thunderstorms, and web development.
Telling stories is something I've enjoyed for my entire life, and-until recently-they mostly took form as comics or illustrations. Though I had dabbled in short fiction (and fanfiction), November 2009 was the first time I managed to write a complete novel. It was called At Death's Door, and you can find it right here on Wattpad.
Writing that first book seemed to spark something in me. Since then I've written several other novels, and I've also been working on a graphic novel.
COMMENTING & READING POLICY
Please don't ask me to read your stories. I'm a lurker by nature, but I try to check out everyone who comments on my stories. If I like it, I'll vote. If I have something to say, I'll leave a comment. It's a natural order.
Advertising, however, is just rude and also against guidelines. Don't.
Snark begets snark, so watch yo'self.
All illustration and design is my own. Unfortunately, I am too busy to make covers for others. Sorry!

This is the only place I currently post my fiction works online. If you see my work elsewhere, it has not been posted by me!
Also, I apologize, but I can't take reading requests at this time.
I'm twenty-eight, despite any horrid rumours my mum might be spreading. I love horses, men, cats, dogs, books, writing, my family and music, but so not in that order.
I started writing when I read a Sweet Valley High book and thought, I can do better. I couldn't at the time; I was nine. :)
My books are available on Amazon - they're just $2.99 / £1.99. myBook.to/Forfeit

ps. One of the sentences above is an utter lie. Guess which one! :) cx
What can I say about me? I love theatre, acting, writing and creating. I also do programming, work with 3d modeling programs (my book cover was created in one), and do websites. I'm extremely curious and inquisitive by nature so I'm naturally drawn to philosophy. While I like to do programming and websites I see that more as a necessary evil in the creative process. An artist unknown is the most difficult road to walk so the other side is always needed.
I'm also trying to learn more about photography and the behind the camera workings so I can do more things on my own, or create things more within how I envision them. I've seen so many great writers and actors having less success than those less talented merely because they don't have the right connections or the money to do their projects as they should. I believe the life of an artist is a two edged sword. You can be great and hope and rely on those in power, who are focused merely on formulas and numbers to see that greatness in you, or you can figure out ways to go it alone as the rebel and hope that your work as an artist draws the true deciders of talent (the readers and movie goers) to you which inevitably draws those in power with them. Sadly this also relies on being an outgoing person, and most artists I know, including myself, tend to be introverted when not performing.
I love writing about relationships, such as the dynamic love/hate relationship that Spike & Buffy had in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Whether acting or writing I tend to drift towards those areas filled with a heavy drama or the push/pull of relationships, where a long gaze upon another in a story is told merely by the eyes and body as it gives way to their innermost thoughts and fears.
Hi, y'all. Even though I'm a transplanted Yankee (I've been down south for eight years), I've embraced the great traditions of y'all and running my air conditioner at odd times of the year. I grew up in Michigan, and I went to college at Western Michigan University (English majors unite!). Somewhere along the way, I picked up a Master's in Library Science, and because I'm insane, I'm back to school right now for a Master's in Children's Literature.
I've been writing for as long as I can remember (expect for this phase I went through in high school where I just sort of quit), and I write YA, NA, and nonfiction.
My first novel, THE SECRET OF ISOBEL KEY, is a NA contemporary mystery with historical flashbacks, and it was published by Bloomsbury Spark in 2013. The sequel, HER SECRET INHERITANCE, is out, too.
I'm also the author of DAUGHTER OF CHAOS, the first in a YA fantasy trilogy, which you can read here on Wattpad (or wherever eBooks are sold).
I'm new to this whole Wattpad thing, but I'm hoping to share teasers from my books with y'all (as well as some totally new stories, too).
