THE RUNNER SERIES
Book 1: The Runner
Book 2: The Wastelands
Book 3: The Rain (On hold)
Companion Book: The Burn (On hold)
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by :) My name is Kate (or Katie) and I am an overly-polite Canadian with an all-consuming love for stories.
My genres-of-choice are typically action/adventure and the occasional piece of science or historical fiction. I'll read pretty much anything but rarely manage to finish; that's the plight of a scatterbrained nerf-herder with a short attention span.
My YA trilogy, 'The Runner' is a dystopian tale set in a desert wasteland, 209 years after the Great Burn. If you are interested in an action-packed story filled with thieves, royalty and rebels, you should definitely check it out.
Please note that the Runner Series is on indefinite hold but that I am updating my new book, "Star Hunter" as much as possible.
I would love to hear from you, feel free to leave any questions or comments. Nothing is off-topic, I'm an open book! [pause for laughter]
I have suspended read requests. Sorry 'bout that!

#ImaginesBook is out in stores! My story is on page 527, called "Michael Clifford Takes You To Prom." I hope you read it, because this book is the most amazing and colossal thing I've ever gotten to be a part of! Buy it online here: http://books.simonandschuster.com/IMAGINES/Anna-Todd/9781501130809
My name is pronounced "kah-son-dra." Fun fact about it: I'm named after a Greek prophetess who predicted the fall of Troy, but nobody would listen to her. I think this says a lot about my life in general.
I'm a freshman in college, a proud Slytherin, and a Beatles fanatic a couple decades late to the party. My favorite number is 8. My go-to color is maroon. My beverage of choice is always coffee. In fact, I'd love to get coffee with Lin Manuel Miranda one day. And you, too.
I'm also a member of the Wattpad Star Program, which has given me the most spectacular opportunities EVER, and a member of @SciKick, a group of lovely science fiction writers.
I post a new chapter of THE CLASSIX, the sequel to THE FAMOUX, every Friday for anybody who's spending their night on Wattpad like I'll probably be. #FamouxFriday.
My writing music is courtesy of my twin sister, Kalina Tyne. http://www.kalinatyne.com
Also, send me your story so I can read it. If you're taking the time to read my words, I'm going to take the time to read yours! It might take a while, but I have a master list of every story ever recommended to me. And I obviously need your work on my list.

Before I say anything about myself, there are a few people I must pay respects to as I most likely would not be on Wattpad if it were not for them.
Most faithful fan: @MohammedUsmanShafeeq/@usman_gamer. Seriously, He has followed me since I first joined in 2011 as @Ralphy94. Went away for more than a year, but when my friend made this profile he followed him, and finally now that I'm back he's still supporting me... THIS GUY ROCKS!!!
Mentor/Who I aspire to be: @NickUskoski. I still remember when Sigma/Star's first chapter dropped. Back then i was starting Space Hawk as a side project. He helped me a lot back then and still helps us all around the forums. His favorite line back when meebo was still alive: "That's Science Opera not Science Fiction!"
Who else I want to kill, sorry aspire to be: @Parogar -_____- enough said.
Now about Me:
I AM A PROUD GATARI JUMP WRITER!! BOO YEAH!!
I'm 21 heading on 22 soon, studying Systems Engineering in College. Been reading longer than i can remember. Finished those huge 300 page bedtime stories when i was 4. Started stealing my mom's Mills&Boon/Harlequin stories when i was 5. Back then, all my older cousins and friends were girls so I only read really inappropriate romance till i was almost fourteen.Started branching out in high school, but the series' that launched me into sci-fi were James Patterson's Max (Bird Kids) books and several of the revered Tom Clancy's books. R.I.P to a worldwide treasure.
I'm a huge gamer and a master at animes/mangas. Seriously, my resume on those stuff don't even make sense anymore. It has reached a point i can probably name ten manga most of you proud leeches haven't seen yet.
I love anime music, battle themes, and good movie OST. TWO STEPS FROM HELL & HANS ZIMMER!!
I adore dogs and cats.. though dogs take the cake sadly.
P.S: Searching for a missing Hawk.
I'm petty: Every comment on a story leaves a huge smile on my face.

Okay, time to cut the serious third-person-writing crap. Here's my less pretentious bio:

Those are my mottos.

I WILL continue to upload pre-edited content to Wattpad as I believe feedback is vital to creative process and love the back and forth that I have with all of my readers :-)
After getting a degree in 3D animation and Film in 2006, Jason fell in love with writing and became intoxicated by the process involved in world and character creation. He took to Facebook and Wattpad to interact with other writers and polish his skills. After posting the first chapter of his second book, VOK, on Wattpad to get feedback, he was inundated with requests to continue the story. Weekly updates, led to updating twice a week, which eventually led to securing the #1 spot in Sci-Fi and #2 spot in Fantasy on a website that saw 40 million users monthly and boasted over 80 million stories.
Jason currently works as a Wireless Consultant, but is looking to write full time in the future. VOK is his first self published book, and he is currently working on several other books, examples of which can be found on his Wattpad profile. He also has a short story published in Brave New Girls, an anthology of stories centered around strong, intelligent, tech savvy young females. The book is available for purchase on Amazon and proceeds for the anthology are donated to a scholarship fund through the Society of Women Engineers.
