As a child I spent more time than I'm going to admit to wishing I was Samantha from Bewitched. Yet despite hours spent perfecting the nose twitch; sadly I have to say that - so far at least - no magical ability has been discovered. Now I have to say it's looking unlikely, but remain hopeful.
I was born in Kent in the UK and moved to France in 1998. I currently live, according to my husband, in LALA land but the rest of the time in the middle of nowhere in darkest Dordogne, as far from the real world as possible. I'm married with three daughters and a wild imagination.
I like Tarot cards and anything creepy... except spiders.I worship at the altar of Florence + the Machine and am addicted to music, as long as it's LOUD! I love chocolate, think The Wizard of Oz is the scariest film I've ever seen and still believe in faeries ;)

I have a degree in Professional Writing, majoring in Prose, and I enjoy reading, writing, music, seeing friends, history, museums, and going new places.
I love vampires, everything except Twilight, and a lot of my work revolves around them but I also dabble in fantasy and romance. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask and if you would like me to read a story you think I'd enjoy then drop me a message and I will take a look.
Thank you for your time.
Hello Wattpadders and welcome to my profile!!!
I'm a refugee from Hollywood where I worked for ten years as a financial executive. The last position I held was as the Vice President of Finance for the Jim Henson Company. My performing career began and ended when I puppeteered a chicken in the closing scene in Muppet Treasure Island. Not sure why they never asked me back!
Since the demise of my blossoming puppetry career, I focus all my creative energy on creating romantic, fun, and wacky worlds on Wattpad. I invite you to come on in, put up your feet, grab a glass of Tang or a seaweed smoothie, and read about mermaids, aliens, princesses, vampires, werewolves, minor Greek gods, and the occasional accountant.
My Watty-winning story MERMAIDS AND THE VAMPIRES WHO LOVE THEM, is a story of true love between a plucky mermaid and an attractive yet annoying vampire. It is a literal "fish out of water" tale and contains plenty of magic, comedy, evil villains, and some epic kissing! (Highest rankings: #1 in Vampire; #1 Vampire/Fantasy)
Hope you enjoy reading my new novel ALIEN INVASION: A LOVE STORY. It chronicles the tale of a young Hollywood accountant, Andie Bank, who gets mixed up with an alien conspiracy to take over earth. Andie lands a job working for the aliens. Her new boss is pretty irresistible, but unfortunately, he wants to abduct her best friend!
I'm proud to be an Ambassador and part of the Wattpad Stars program (I feel so sparkly!)
I'm grateful to all my readers and to the amazing people at Wattpad HQ for all their support!
To date I've never been abducted by aliens. But I haven't given up hope!
NO READ REQUESTS right now. Anyone requesting a read will be immediately exsanguinated. :D
Linky type things:
Young author just getting her start in the publishing world, I have one book out now and if you want more information just message me. I update every few days depending on my schedule, so I hope you enjoy what you read.
So a little while ago, I discovered Wattpad through a friend and I've been stuck with it ever since.
At first it was a way to share Sentinel with people that enjoyed and *wanted* to read books--even if they weren't perfect and littered with a whole bunch of telling and exposition and confusing sentences. It was perfect, and as I pranced about the site with my head held high thinking I'd written ten chapters of the best thing ever, I started to meet other writers.
Coincidentally, that's about the time I realised how much I sucked at writing and started stalking those other writers and google to figure out how to get better.

I'm a Canadian currently living in a small village outside my hometown and working for a tour company with my long-suffering fiancé and our ever growing collection of nerdiness. I write in my free time, what little of it that isn't taken up with traveling and hanging out with my friends. I appreciate all comments but I am especially grateful for any criticism. I am somewhat oblivious and often need to be hit over the head with something before I notice it. My first book, The Emperor's Arrow, is out with Carina Press. My second, Enveloping Shadows, will be out December 2016.
I'm also, despite the fact that I hate poetry, a published poet.
Okay because I keep getting requests for it I'm going to warn you about my critiques. When I critique I am incredibly mean and nit-picky. The worse the story is, the nastier I get. I am also brutally honest about it. Emphasis on the brutal part. Please bear this in mind when asking me to look at your work. I'll do it, but there's a high likelihood that I will tear your story apart. Also possibly your pride and your soul. You have been warned, so please, don't yell at me later if I critique your work or say I didn't tell you how bad I'd be. I have. Due to my schedule, I'm temporarily closed to critiques. Sorry!
Since I hate the constant posting of everything I do to it, if you want my tumblr account just go to laurendmsmith.tumblr.com . It's half blog-half writing website but there's a place for questions in case any of you have ones you want to ask. You can also ask anonymously if you like.
Thanks for reading!
Reading order for the Cinderella series: Cinderella vs. Prince Charming, Cinderella vs. the Fairy Godmother, and Cinderella vs. Happily Ever After. The Step Sister vs. Cinderella is kind of number four.
Hello, (possibly) random stranger!
I'm a French teenage girl who loves writing.
Afore mentioned writing is in English only, even if it isn't my first language. It'll also most likely fit in the fantasy genre. (Like my book "Secret Wings")
Two other of my hobbies are reading and drawing/DIYing. (DIYing is not a word... Just pretend you didn't see that.)
For me, one of the trickiest things in writing is finding good names, either book titles or suitable character names.
So if you have a good one feel free to share!
Please don't send me reading requests. As much as I'd like to help every starting-out writer here, there are just too many, and I am too busy. Don't even try to ask me, I'm not going to read your book.
I love all of my awesome readers! :D
Thanks a bunch for your support!

I'm Lily Brooks(Obviously). I'm a huge writer(Again, obviously). I've never done much of my own stuff, but I love writing fanfiction and try to update as often as I can! I'm currently working on a new series(My own series) that I probably won't be posting on Wattpad, but if I ever do get published Wattpad will be the first place to know! Fingers crossed, guys.
Being that I rarely have time to write(Much less read!), I'm not going to be reading your stories. I'm not someone to ask for advice- I'm just an amateur writer and cannot provide the advice I would love to be able to!
Thanks for taking the time to read my page,
I'm one of those creative people. Highly creative people. I can paint, draw, sew, etc. Anything artistic and to express myself in any way possible. Writing just seems to be an extension of that creative spirit.
You can call me Kat, but please no Kathy. That just doesn't suit me at all.
Just to let you all know... This is a pen name and not my actual name. I made it up in middle school. I told myself if I ever start writing seriously, then that's what I wanted my name to be.
My works are first drafts, so if there are mistakes, that's why. I've gotten many complaints from readers who are a bit picky and others that just ignore it.
