Hello :) I am the author of Splinter and Watty 2015 winner, The Numbered. I also organised #LondonWattCon16. Also honoured to be one of the Wattpad Stars.
Last year I was commisioned by General Electric to write Adventures in the Future-
I am fan of Sci-fi, paranormal and travel books. I am forever stuck in the 90s (my book Splinter is my paranormal tribute to that era). A proud Norwich City FC supporter, I am also mum to two wonderful little people. If I'm not updating my stories regularly enough, it's their fault, blame them.
Highest hotlist positions held so far:
The Numbered - Science Fiction #1
The Path - Paranormal #20
Splinter - #82 (4.11.16)
The Numbered (Flawed) appeared in the news:
I write science fiction, YA and works with strong female characters. That's also the kind of thing I like to read!
My inspirations: Ursula Le Guin (my hero), CS Lewis (his sci-fi), Gene Roddenberry, Edgar Allan Poe, Haruki Murakami, Robert Heinlein, JRR Tolkien, Charles Dickens, Margaret Atwood, Phillip Dick, Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell & Michael Talbot.
Currently working on Dark Star, a post-apocalyptic sci-fi with time travel, robots, aliens, a dangerous cult, and a touch of adolescent romance between Liran (18) and Imorah (16). It's the 5th and final book in The Dreaming series, which I've been working since I was teenager. I'm so happy to be finally sharing it with the world!
The community and support on Wattpad is amazing; I've made so many friends, and read so many great stories. Please see my reading lists -- they're always kept up to date with my favourites.
Besides writing my work-in-progress, I also run a group for women writers over 35 called @LOL-35, and I mentor many younger writers on the site, including.
If you've read this far, then you should know that I'm super approachable -- if you have any questions, please ask! I see other writers on the site as my peers -- we're all in this together, so reach out and say hello! I follow back dedicated readers and writing peers and try to read their works, but I don't have much time to read, I'll be honest, so thanks for understanding!
Hi everyone! Since I'd rather not say my name, go ahead and just call me Paint. I write Warrior Cats fanfictions, hence the name "WarriorzLove". Anyway, I hope you enjoy my stories overall, and feedback would be greatly appreciated!

"This is a place that you all made together so that you could find one another. The most important part of your life was the time that you spent with these people. That's why all of you are here. Nobody does it alone, Jack. You needed all of them, and they needed you." - Christian Shephard, Lost

Greetings earthlings! Hmmmm what to tell you about myself... Well I love writing! Surprise surprise! Why is my name Kait but my username Claudia_Lewis81 you ask. To be honest I have no idea, it just kind of happened. Then I thought about changing my username, but all my book covers have Claudia_Lewis81 on them, some just decided to leave it! Anyways as I said a little bit ago I love writing, and I also love reading, so if you want me to read any of your stuff just let me know via inbox, message board, OR carrier pigeon (because that would be amazing). Also if you have any input on any of my books or just something you want to say to me use one of the methods mentioned above to contact me. At the moment I may appear inactive, but that is not the case! I am knee deep in edits for "Forgotten" and "I May Be Famous But They Don't Know That". I don't want to start another project until I am completely satisfied with the two mentioned above.
In the mean time you could check out the writing Pinterest I run. It might help you with casting your characters! Just click on my website link below to go to it! As always thank you so much for your support in reading my books, it means the world to me!
Not good at writing about myself but here we go...I am a closet writer, not very many of my friends are aware I do this...since by day I am a mild, mannered Business Analyst/Project Manager working in a cubicle. I've been told that in comparison to my usual demeanor, the way I write for my characters can be shocking, sarcastic and maybe a little dark...well, to each their own :-) Everybody has a dark side, I guess. Mine comes through vicariously through my characters and their stories.
Some of the things that make me who I am...I've lived all over the country thanks to my Dad's job, and have been the newbie so many times I've lost count. Changed careers a few times, changed educational pursuits a few times...still move around the country quite often...not because I have to, but because I want to. I can be quiet and intense, maybe even brooding...but I am very rarely without a smile on my face, because I find people, places and things too humorous not to laugh about it.
Writing has always been a passion of mine, I put a lot of myself and my life experiences into my characters, there are quite a few parallels, as you will be able to identify after reading some of my work.
Traveling is my 2nd passion, and I get away at every opportunity...regardless of time or circumstance, if there is money in my checking account and vacation time still in my queue, I can guarantee there will be some far flung adventure in the future. Maybe I should be a travel writer...missed that career choice!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy my work, and appreciate feedback...good or bad...really....I mean that...you can stop snickering at anytime...

I reckon on being one of the lucky ones! I mean I've lived a long life, enjoyed a challenging, interesting and varied life.
I've not managed to keep much of the money I've made and I always reckon I made much more for other people than for myself, but that's life. I'm rich in health and experiences.
I found Janet, my life partner when I was past thirty at a time when I was beginning to think my companion on life's passage would be a bottle- Thank the Lord we got that sorted out.
We're a forward looking couple and when the time came they wouldn't let us work anymore and forced us into retirement, we saw that as another challenge.
The choice was simple, shut down and do nothing except wait for the call to the hereafter or do something. So we sold up in England and moved to France- new people, new culture, new language, new friends!
Like I said, I've lived a long time. My earliest recollections is being held in my mother's arms with neighbours outside our house looking at the red sky to the south - London burning in the blitz. Of course I didn't know it at the time. Then when I was four, this was just before what I learned was D-Day- but when I was much older.
That trip on the train to scotland and those GI's who sat opposite. Do you know I can see their faces now! all these years later. How they laughed when I said 'Give us some gum chum,' when they asked me to talk. It's what the bigger boys in the street said. I often wonder if they made it?
I'm so grateful to them and the thousands like them that gave us our freedom today!
I hope they were lucky ones too!
The earlier chapters of The ‘Cousins’ have now been extensively revised and published on KIndle and Amazon as an e-book and paperback under the title ’The Stopover - A New Road’.
The second revision will follow in Sep 2015 as ‘The Stopover-Potholes’ Watch this space for news!
