The Garden of Kirk O' Field The Story of Mar...
Mary, Queen of Scots returns to her ancient homeland to face a world of intrigue, danger, love and betrayal...
Sent from her homeland as an infant, under threat of death or capture by the English, Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots was raised in the elegant courts of France. Married to the Dauphin, intended as Queen of France, her career at the French courts was ended by the early death of her beloved first husband. At the age of 18; leaving behind the corruptions of the French court under Catherine De Medici, Mary returned to her native Scotland to become Queen in her own right. Facing danger, abuse, sexism and religious termoil, her first years as Queen of Scots were troubled. But with the suspicious death of her second husband at the explosion of Kirk O'Field, Mary would come to face her hardest challenges; rebellion, war and exile... along with accusations of deception, and murder.
