Thanks for chosing this book. This story is , as the title states, based on the Mahabharata from Draupadi's perspective, her friendship with Krishna, her relationship with the pandavas, her sufferings and all from an interesting perspective, from the time she was born from fire. It's a short narrative of Mahabharata by Draupadi, in her POV. I have included some parts in my POV, and made an effort to highlight her true greatness. Do give me your feedback please for that's very important for me.
"I'm Draupadi. Born from the fierce fire, I am Aagnija, possessing the ability to burn anything I want. I am Yagnaseni, and like fire, can't be calmed once burnt. I faced sufferings all my life for no fault of mine. Me and my brother were born from the sacred fire, through some rituals performed by great sages, and of course the efforts and sacrifices of my father and mother, the Queen and king of Kampilya. I was born, not to have a choice of mine, but to bring the destruction of the Kuru dynasty. I tried my best to keep everyone happy, but my life was no less than a game for everyone. They considered me as an object, not a human being. I got seperated from everyone I loved the most, at every point in my life. But there was someone who always stood by me, and that was my best friend, my lord, the supreme, the controller of the universe, none other than Krishna. He always supported me and my husbands when we were right, because its true-Good always wins whatever be the situation, good is revered since ages only because of the reason!"
