A World Away

Pam Nelson's life in Los Angeles is unraveling. Out of work, out of money, she agrees to model for her best friend Trudy's boyfriend, Ron. But Ron has more on his mind than photography with Pam. Following a disastrous meeting with him, she decides to leave LA for the Pacific Northwest to give herself time to refocus and reevaluate. With her faithful Boston Terrier, Pascal, in tow, she heads up north to regroup. Almost immediately, she meets Gary Karlsen, a handsome local who runs an island tour boat and fishing business. As summer arrives, so do the tourists from LA, including a charming, rising actor who wants Pam to come back to LA.
