This is a story about three Muslim girls who always tried to keep everything they did halaal. Khawla, Rayhanah and Nusaiba strived day in day out to lower their gaze, avoid all haraam relationships and even master the Quran. What they didn't know was that Allah (S.W) had a different plan for them. A more beautiful one at that.

Zahra and Hamza. Hamza and Zahra. It was no simple task for their names to be heard side by side. For their story was a complicated one. A sorrowful one. One that was full of longing. ZAHRA is haunted by the demons of her past, and the what-ifs of the future. A seventeen year old girl tasked with caring for her family when her mother leaves; she has to juggle her responsibilities towards her family; her studies; and, her deen. Crying every night on the prayer mat seems to be the norm for Zahra now. She's drowning, and no one can see it. To fall in love would be impossible for a person in her position, but that's ok since she seemed to loathe the concept anyway. More than hate...she feared love. HAMZA is complicated. After moving back to his old home town, he is faced with the one who he could never forget. And how could he? Her crying face is permanently etched in his mind, she plagues his dreams and thoughts, and constant what-ifs are on the tip of his tongue. What if he did something differently, and maybe his and her life could have gone a lot differently. When they both come face to face with each other, emotions are at an all-time high, memories are bound to resurface, and the past they both desperately tried to bury may be coming up to the surface. Now, they both must make a choice. To bury or be buried. Add in confusing family members, mysterious new guys, shocking secrets and crazy plot twists, cute friendships, and heart wrenching moments. A girl on deen, a boy on deen, and a world desperate to keep them apart. But, my dear reader, these are souls that were written to be together. Everything that happens is with the qadr (will) of Allah. Nothing, and no one could stop what He has planned for Zahra and Hamza. WARNING: this story is not for the faint-hearted...you may cry. MAIN CHARACTERS ARE MUSLIM AND PAKISTANI

The Halaal Way

25 parts Complete

She was an average muslimah but she had a weakness. She had a strong desire, yet her heart was weak. She found a solution to her weakness but it was only temporary and it was Haram. She then found a permanent solution to her weakness. It was Halaal but her parents didn't agree to it. She took a decision out of anger and that single decision turned her life upside down. She sinned... She violated... She was violated... She regretted... She repented... But there was a vacuum in her life that her past had created that she carried with her every single day of her life. The guilt and burden of her past always weighed her down every step of the way. She wished she could turn back the hands of time and erase that part of her life from her story. But then, her story had not yet ended. Her future seemed bleak because her past posed a threat. Will her story end like this? Probably... Probably not... The past cannot be changed, that is for sure. What about the future?
