Can I Tie Your Shoes?
When Skye met a guy in an ordinary Starbucks Coffee shop, she didn't think he would literally turn her world upside down. He got the look, the arrogance and the money that would make all the Eves kiss every floor he just stepped on, but he was persistent enough to stay in Skye's mind. His stare and mere presence alone was enough to make her want to scramble on her feet and ran away, not wanting to fall.
“I’m Pablo Einstein. Please to meet you guys” I managed with a straight face. I scrambled onto my feet, bolting out of the buzzing cafeteria before a husky, I-just-got-out-of-the-bed voice halted my almost inhuman footsteps “Skye.”
His voice was low, throaty and laced with a hint of unknown yearning when my name rolled off his tongue almost as if he took care perfectly of how his tongue caressed my name. But, what made me felt like a rug was pulled under my feet was the fact that he knew my name. I stood there, unblinking as he stood up gracefully, revealing that he was around 6’2, his broad shoulder and that arrogance radiated from his whole being by his stare alone.
Those pairs of grey eyes were sparkling in an unfamiliar emotion as always. I was about to open my mouth when he shook his head, and then once again his gruff voice that directed chills down my spine was heard.
