The Fuel to Fire
Adin lunges at me. I dodge his fist and sprint to the other side. He takes another blow at my face. I kick his hand. He winces backward, holding his wrist. I kick at his rib cage causing him to roll to the damp ground. The entire camp holds their breath as I slowly walk over to Adin's quivering body. He's breath is unstable and shaky. I didn't know I could kick so hard. I knee down near him. I reach out my hand and he grabs it. I scramble away from him, but I only pull him to his feet.
Adin uses my attack and kicks me in the ribs. I fall, holding my side. Everyone gasps. He kicks me over and over again. I scream as loud as I possibly can, making it known that I'm in pain. Adin ignores my yelps. He kicks me continuously. Will he ever stop? I shriek and cry for help.
"Adin, that's enough!" I hear as the scene gets darker.
