"I am caught off-guard by you. Like a wave I pulled into, it's a feeling I can't fight, like a wildfire, deep inside. You're taking my heart, by storm, I'm lost in your love, lost in your love."
Agent Caden Storm had been with the CIA for as long as she could remember. Being recruited as a teen she surpassed her fellow recruits and impressed her bosses. Now she has the duty of recruiting someone of her choice....that man just happened to be someone she went to high school with, Mitch Rapp. Her old friend Mitch had just lost his girlfriend in a terror attack...although Caden and Mitch never spoke often when they were together in class, but now that she is stuck with him, she gets another chance to tell him what she had been dreading the second her boss, Kennedy, told her to say...they were training him for a much bigger world then he expected.
Mitch always noticed the girl, he just never approached her before the organization pulled her out of school in the middle of sophomore year.
Caden had helped him fill the hole in his heart, she had lost her brother on a mission and she knew the feeling. Caden guides Mitch on his journey, she pushes him, for they were going to be partners in the future.
When Caden goes missing on a mission to find Ghost in Europe, Mitch goes after her captors not caring about anything, but finding her. With the help of Stan Hurly and Turkish agent Annika the three realize they are fighting a bigger fight.
Caden and Mitch. Storm and Rapp. Two people who had lost everything...including themselves.
