I know I'm young and people that are older supposedly have more important troubles than kids like me, who obviously wouldn't understand. But those people are wrong. I've been through a lot in my 16 years in this world and who are you to say my troubles are lesser than yours? Granted I don't exactly have a hard life. I'm not homeless or starving and I don't have abusive parents but I still have issues, insecurities, rough patches and pretty shitty friends. And those are the things that make me think twice, hesitate, wonder. What went wrong? What could I have changed? How am I going to fix this?
These are the questions I solve by reading, writing, watching. Books, scripts, films. All media's have the power to change something. To make us think and that's what's important to me. Being who I am. Questioning myself and my future. Helping others to help themselves. They are the things that matter the things that I need to fix that I need to create. This piece of writing isn't about me, although that would be entertaining, this is about YOU. It's about you finding and being yourself, questioning your values and morals, learning how to mature and solve your own problems because let's be honest nobody else can.
Obviously people will disagree with my motives, my ideas, my thoughts but that's the whole point. The point is that you have an opinion and can feel secure in what you think and feel about controversial or current issues that really need your insight.
The sheer length of this description will no doubt have already lost readers. But, what's the point in writing a description that doesn't represent the nature and feeling of the book I am writing? If you want to learn about yourself. If you want to question your beliefs. Maybe add this story to your library and read the updates, because everyone needs to have something's that inspires them. Even if it is just some random 16 year old girl.
