Remembrance (The Twilight Saga)
Annabel can't remember anything.
She lives with the Cullens, friends who have vowed to look after her as if she were one of their own, but even they provide no insight into her lost memories. She only has two reminders of her past: an empty locket and a note from her mother. All she can do is live her life in the most normal manner possible, just as her mother asked her to; go to school, make some friends, and trust the Cullens. Yet, no matter how "normal" she acts, it doesn't cure her burning curisoity or aching heart.
Then she meets Jacob Black. She can't quite understand why, but she feels a complete sense of normalcy around him that she doesn't quite feel with anyone else. It's as if all of her worries fade in his presence. But as strange events unfold, events she's trying desperately to piece together, she can't help but feel as though she's putting Jacob, and everyone else she cares for, in danger.
Annabel comes to the startling realization that terrible things may be coming to Forks; and she will stop at nothing to protect those she holds most dear.
