"What is your name?" He asked in a deep growl his eyes still looking into mine.
"Aurora. My name is Aurora" I said looking at him.
My heart skipped a beat. He had the kind of face that would stop you in your tracks. I guess he must be used to this reaction from women as the sudden change of expression on my face followed by a weak smile and blush to my cheeks did not seem to register on his face at all. He just kept staring at me with his soulless brown eyes. He must have been hit in the face as his cheek was red and swollen on one side, bruises covered the rest of his face.
"Like sleeping beauty?" He said raising an eyebrow. I nodded and smiled. He stood up and walked slowly over to me stopping just in front of me. His huge frame made me feel tiny and weak. I had to look up to see his face as he was quite tall. His cologne was intoxicating and it smelt musk and cinnamon. I closed my eyes letting his sent take over my senses.
I opened my eyes and looked at his swollen cheek. "Are you ok? You look like you have been hurt" I asked reaching my hand up towards his face.
He grabbed my hand and held it tightly.
"That is not your concern. I want you to understand something Aurora. I don't want to talk you right now. I don't want you to ask me questions. I paid for your company not your medical advice." He said without any feeling in his voice. His glare frightening me. I pulled my hand away and looked to floor, my body turned away. The way he spoke to me made me suddenly want to walk away.
He put a hand on my waist and pulled my chin up gently so I was looking at his face once again.
"Please don't be scared of me Aurora. I don't want to hurt you, that is not my intention. I have had a long week. I need some .... Relief" he rubbed his thumb on my cheek. His dark brown eyes stared into mine as if they pulling my soul out.
