She is despised by everyone at school. At least, by those who are aware of her existence. Her only refuge being the books behind which she hides and the time she spends with her best friend, Rose. She's broken from inside and the shattered pieces don't know how to mend themselves up on their own. But it was not always like this. Once upon a time, when everything wasn't messed up, she was happy and well liked by her peers.
What happened that changed Ellen's life? That broke her so much that even her tears have dried up?
He's the new guy in Ellen's school, Amber High. He quickly reaches the throne of the high school hierarchy. He's chased by every girl, but he doesn't seem to care. For he seems to chase Ellen Bloom, the girl that comes with a lot of emotional baggage.
Will Ellen's life get any better? Will Parker be able to break her walls? Will she let him? Will the jealous cheerleaders stop getting in their way? Will they get their happily-ever-after?
