"Now, that was not jealousy, was it?" He taunted out loud.
"Cocky, aren't you?" I commented snarkily.
"I prefer the word confident." He smirked, before leaning forward and cupping my face with both his hands.
And then, he kissed me.
Ellen Bloom wasn't always the social abomination in her school. It was all because of one night back in eighth grade. One terrible night, that left her whole world upside down. It was her senior year now and she was finally coming terms with the fact that nothing could change the past.
Enters Parker Ryan, the new kid, who doesn't seem to want to leave her alone. He has his own baggage and sometimes it becomes hard for him to carry all the weight by himself.
Will Ellen's life get any better? Will Parker be able to break her walls? Will she let him? Will the jealous cheerleaders stop getting in their way? Will they get their happily-ever-after?
Read to find out!
P.S. The blurb is terrible and so are the first few chapters, but please bear with it! It gets better. Also, this is my first story, so I apologise in advance for any lack of development, in plot or otherwise.
