In a classic medieval world, where fairies and knights run amuck, curses and spells are completely common, though the effects are not always tolerated publicly, where serfs are still serfs and courtiers are still courtiers, thereupon exists one, one to ease everyone's lives but to possibly end hers instead...
Prophesized as a curse-vessel even before she was born, Arwehn has retained all sorts of curses in her being, ending up restricted to most things one can do.
The prophecy states that she can only withstand up to 500 curses, and that she will perish if she tries to take in the 501th one. However, there is a perk: if she can break the curses she retains, with a minimum of 50 curses in total, she will be able to "Turn seven lives anew".
Refusing to stay in her tower, waiting for cursed people to come in hopes of her removing and absorbing their curses, Arwehn leaves her home in a loud, medieval city, journeying to break her curses while helping others.
On her way, she encounters all sorts of creatures and places, including some newfound allies and friends.
