Where My Heart Takes Me
1823. Camila is 17 years old and "ripe" to get married. On one of her balls, though, she decides she's had enough and runs away from the numerous earls, viscounts and duke who were courting her. Why can't they get it? She's not one to be tied down, especially when the person she'll be tied to is a man. No, that's just not her. She's meant for being free, finding what satisfies her heart and if she's going to be tied down that would be with a woman. She's as gay as a sheltered daughter of a very rich earl in London could get.
As she is running away, she comes across a mysterious merchant named Lauren. She cannot read through her but she definitely likes staring at her green eyes. Maybe she can find a way to get into her mind, or even better, into her heart.
