In which a broken girl learns the art of healing, trusting and loving herself.
Gwendolyn Marie Watson's heart has been stepped over one too many times.
Betrayal, heartbreak and abandonment have all been thrown at her and she has been shattered to the point of close to irreparability. To save herself, she learnt to conceal, to hide behind a mask of superficiality, to build her walls so high that even she could barely look over them into her ruptured soul.
Yet, when an old, lost friendship somehow intertwines itself into her life, she finds herself trusting the boy who had destroyed her, but also the boy who had once been her everything.
She battles with herself, all her insecurities surfacing, as she tries to decide if putting herself into the hands of someone who could break her so easily, would just be staining the scars already evident on her.
But she soon comes to realise that, perhaps, he can help her to find herself, after having made her lose herself.
