Mermaids! They're the stuff of legends. Their stories have been passed down from generation upon generation by those who believe. Every young girl dreams of becoming a mermaid. Women flock to the internet to purchase a tail, others spend hours creating one of their own.

Nerina was one of those girls. Every night she dreamed about swimming in the deep blue sea, without a care in the world, away from the people who bullied her. Now, as an adult, she's living out her dream as a professional mermaid at SeaWorld.

Her life was perfect until she accidentally uncovered a secret buried deep within her genes. What will happen when the final piece of the puzzle is revealed? Will she still love the man in her life when she finds out how deep the secret really goes?

This is a captivating prologue. I have a feeling she is already a mermaid seeing as the greek meaning for her name is sea nymph. Great work.
