Emma Newfound had always grown up near the ocean. She loved the crystal clear water of Florida's coast. Emma's life had not been the best. She was always bullied in school, her mom was still recovering from a heartbreaking divorce, and she was self conscious beyond belief. The ocean has always been, and will always be, her escape. One day, the ocean, would change her life forever.

That is so funny when I was reading the details of the girl I pictured my friend named Emma! Lol I was not expecting that!

I'd give anything to live right next to an ocean, or any tropical place with clear beaches. I live in Massachusetts and the closest beach is freezing and it's murky. Plus the only time I am able to go to the beach is June-August which sucks.

I thought I stumbled into one of those books that make fun of cliche's and crappy writing until i realized this was an actual story
I just want to say, as some constructive criticism, to make your book seem more professional, try stringing some sentences together and adding less exclamation marks. It may seem fun, but can get tiring. Also, the apostrophe is not needed after water.
