The Return of Madison Smith
He sighs and runs his hands along his smooth and silky hair. I only realised now that there were bags under his eyes and a look of regret
Serves him right
"I have to go now or else I'll miss my plane..."
"Well.. I hope you come back to visit.." he gulps
"I'm sure you and your 'popular' group would love that wouldn't you" shaking my head, I pull the straps of my school bag over my shoulder tightly before turning around, ready to hit the road away from this hell hole
"Madison" he says grabbing a hold of my hand, preventing me from taking another step. Before Dave even had a chance to open his mouth again my phone made a beep indicating that I had just received a text
Where are you?
Turning off my phone, I give Dave one more look of hatred before making my way towards my car without looking back.
It was two years ago when Madison had been the laughing stock of Hamilton High School, just because she was the biggest student there. It had been two years since she had last seen Dave, and it has been one year since she had graduated from High School. Unfortunately just when Madison was getting use to the idea of living in her new city forever, her dad had gotten a promotion. The problem however was that she had to move back
Since leaving Hamilton High School, Madison had been visiting the gym more than enough, each week. Perhaps it was because the look of disgust from everyone in Hamilton High School, plastered in her memory. Maybe not.
When she returns, she tries her best to avoid eye contact with everyone who she remembered as her enemies. She also finds herself applying for a job in a campsite for kids aged from 5 to 18.
What happens when she finds a certain boy she once knew working there as well? How will she cope with past memories haunting her? What happens when one of the boys working in the campsite catches her eyes? Will everything work out? Or will it get even more complicated than her past High School years?
