When I was twenty, I didn't have many plans. I was going to work at Hannah Ray's daycare, go to school, hang out with my best friend, Rein and that was pretty much it. However everything changed when I met Colton. This precious little boy brightened my life and brought me a joy that I never knew existed. Having him was a bittersweet thing, because I knew that I could lose him at any moment, because you see, Colton was sick. And not just a cold or a fever, Colton had leukemia.

Well I think what I was trying to convey was that it was different and delicate. But its hard to explain something like that to a child. But I think you're right. There is probably a better word I could use

OMG!! I could not stop crying i love this book I lost my best friend to leukemia so I can relate i still could not get over him dying I still feel his loss
