"The itsy-bitsy spider climbed up on my wall. Down came the rain, and washed the spider out. Out came the sun, and dried up all the rain. But the itsy-bitsy spider won't climb the wall again." 
    He continuously sang that. His anthem. His peculiar theme song. 
    "You know why the spider won't climb my wall again, Ally?" He'd ask. There was always a long silence. "Because it's dead." 
    
    I liked risks. Skydiving, rock-climbing, cycling without a helmet. Mild risks.
    But taking the decision I decided to live with. A big mistake. A huge one. 
    
    There's handbooks on how to cycle, rock-climb, cook. 
    There's no handbook to explain how to raise a psychopath.
