Benjamin McAllister is the Queen's Man working in secret for King and Crown. It riddled his past with intrigue, war, and death. It was no place for a woman. Such comforts as marriage, family, and love were not to be his. 

However, one woman had changed all of that. Lady Clara Bentley had won Benjamin McAllister's heart, but the prize had come at a price. He tried so hard to keep her from his world, but his world found them and it was tearing them apart. 

Clara embarks on a journey in search of a way to make them whole again, but will this adventure give her the answers she seeks? Or will they both remain...
