The Phoenix of Hope
No one is truly born with a set destiny. At least, that's what many believe. People aren't created for certain jobs, they aren't simply made to do one thing in their life. So the theorists say.
A young girl, a castaway, was created for one thing. She's hunted, ignored, hated, all because of what? She was born from an extinct race, hidden away in the hopes that she blooms like a flower in spring and saves the ignorant lives around her.
Fear haunts her in the dreams.
People hunt her in broad daylight.
Sadness slowly tears her apart, leaving the supposed hero shattered.
Yet, her live begins to turn around in the slightest. She finds a family, something she has never known of.
Her secrets must be kept hidden though, which tears her apart. She wants to say, but as soon as she does...
The Forgotten War will rise again.
This book is currently being rewritten, edited, and rewritten again. If you find any mistakes, feel free to point them out. Updates are going to be slow, and I'll warn you now that this is going to be a long story. The first five edited chapters that are currently being rewritten are the length of a full novel itself, over 50,000 words. So be prepared to indulge yourself in a story that has been in the works for years.
