The Accident at Sunset
People always tell me that everything happens for a reason.
Well, I think that's a load of garbage.
She was too young, too pure. She was one of the few people I loved more than anything else in the world. And she certainly wasn't ready to say goodbye.
This Summer, the Evanston family is in store for a lot more than just a bad sunburn and sand stuck in places it shouldn't be. A horrible accident takes place, and the whole family has to deal with the trauma.
Lilian (Lily) Evanston is the only one who knows what truly happened, but she keeps it hidden. She blames herself, and she knows that if she was to reveal this secret, it could tear her family apart.
However, maybe keeping everything inside will eventually eat away at everything that's good and leave only destruction behind.
WARNING: This story contains content dealing with depression and thoughts of self-harm.
It also contains a minor amount of swearing (gotta' keep it realistic)
Also, I'd love any constructive criticism!
