Bayzel lives in the secrecy of the kingdom of Briliad. Briliad is known for their old fashioned clothing and style, reliance on nature for supplies, and their amazing ability to spy. Briliad has always seemed like a threat to other kingdoms because of their ability.
Bayzel understands this. She knows she's a good spy, she knows she steals weapons on a daily basis, she knows that she's probably the best spy. But a threat? She steals weapons because she wants to build her skill for the fun of it, not for power.
Kane, the Brilian warrior commander, is having to commander an army that's much older than him. His father, the old commander, died of an unknown death, leaving Kane, at the age of 16 to command. He claims to need training and Enwhitler gives it to him.
But not as he expected.
Bayzel is made commander of spies, a totally new position, and placed in the ranks with Kane.
Read as the two youngsters have to learn to lead a country at the age of 16 when war is lurking at their door.
