After graduating from high school, Eavyn is saying good-bye to all her friends who are heading off to college while she stays to help her mother with the family business. Normal in every sense of the word, she is stunned to return home to find a couple of guys wearing medieval garb ransacking her house. Cuinn has been sent into a strange dimension to capture a missing princess. What he finds is a ferocious girl who has no idea who--and what--she really is. His mission is to hand the princess over to his father before she can fulfill an ancient prophecy that could destroy his entire kingdom. Finding herself in an alternate dimension Eavyn must learn to harness a magic that shouldn't exist, in order to protect a home and family she's never known so she can fulfill a prophecy that she isn't sure she believes in. Oh and if all that wasn't enough, she has somehow resurrected and can communicate with an ancient dragon. The battle lines are drawn, but the question of who is on what side is blurred.
