Akanke (ah-kahn-kay ) meaning to know her is to love her. Akanke is a beautiful young girl who has been pushed around and held at the strings of her a mother like a puppet all of her life. From being dressed up in bows, wearing elaborate dresses, being told how to wear her hair, and even being told when and how to take a bath, she is in denial that this isn't the way she is to be treated until she meets a man while teaching his daughter ballet lessons. Will she crack this shell and allow him to be everything that she needs or forever be bound to her mother?
