Marcy looked at me as if I had grown three heads, her head slightly cocking sideways as she spoke. "So what you are saying is that you think he is innocent?" She asked.
I nodded my head. "Yes, Marcy. I think he is innocent, just because he has tattoo's doesn't make him a serial killer."
Marcy leaned her head against the palm of her hand and with each finger she tapped her cheek repeatedly. "He looks dangerous! So then you wouldn't be afraid to walk up to him and make a conversation with him?"
"Nope." I responded.
"So do it." She shot back.
Immediately my eyes grew bewildered, I didn't think she would actually make me do that. "Are you serious?" I asked a bit nervous.
"Yes, go on." She ushered.
It took me a few seconds to get up from my chair, trying to see if Marcy was being for real. Of course she was, she's Marcy. Once I was up, I turned around and there Sade was, keeping everything he was doing to himself. "There is nothing to be afraid of, Scarlet." I whispered to myself.
Why was I doing this you may ask? Well Marcy has the tendency to believe that she is always right, and for the first time in a long time, I feel like I was right this time.
If I really didn't think he was the murderer, then why was my heart pounding so hard against my chest? Why was a lump growing on my throat? Why did everything suddenly seem so blurry? Probably because deep, deep down, I was wrong and Marcy was right like always.
And walking up to him, was going to be the biggest mistake I have ever done. Yet still, I found myself mere inches away from him.
"Hey!" I breathed, feeling the palm of my hands begin to sweat.
